CCTV Solutions is a New Zealand owned and operated business, providing electronic protection solutions to its clients throughout the country.

The Company is headed up by Rob Riches and Mike Butler, who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Loss Prevention and CCTV. We specialise in CCTV only providing well-known and well-supported CCTV products and services such as Sony, Pelco, Panasonic, Ikegami and other brands to the marketplace.

We are able to provide service and support on a national basis with our In House team based in Auckland and a network of experienced technical agents throughout New Zealand. These agents are controlled from a single point of contact in Auckland which, experience shows, provides many benefits to our clients and customers.

Each component of any Security / Loss Prevention System is to be treated as a separate, specialised entity. The reasons for this have proved themselves time and again because in most instances CCTV is seen as the add-on product to the alarm and inevitably that is exactly how problems begin, with poor and sometimes totally unusable evidence being extracted from the recording system. This in turn is usually a result of a lack of expertise.

It should also be remembered that the vast majority of retail crime occurs during business hours and as such it will be the CCTV system that will provide the most benefits to the end user.

Equipment Chosen

At CCTV Solutions we provide only the most appropriate equipment for the purpose, in other words we will not over do it nor will we under do it. We will consult you on your objectives for the system and provide professional advice accordingly.

We are able to provide most major brands available on the market today. Brand names such as Pelco, Panasonic, Sony, Mitsubishi and Ikegami to name but a few. Also if you require a specific brand of product we will endeavour to procure it for you and occasionally we may recommend an alternative.

Our team has been selected due to their qualifications, experience and proven ability to deliver the goods. At all times they will display honesty, integrity and reliability and above all we are accountable for our actions.

Product Lead Times

Lead times for most products can be as little as 24-hours or dependent on quantities may be around seven to ten days.

Geographical Positioning

CCTV Solutions is domiciled on Aucklands North Shore close to motorway on/off ramps, which allows for ease of movement in any direction. Our National Network of Technical Agents is domiciled in all the main centres and some provincial centres which enable us to provide our service throughout New Zealand.

Staffing

We employ full and part time CCTV Consultants and Technicians. We also engage part time contract technicians as required and have access to several other sub-contract companies in the Auckland region if required. All our CCTV labour resources are required to be licensed under the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 1974.

Rob comes from a background where he has been responsible for the operational management and implementation of several nationwide CCTV installation and maintenance contracts including multi-site rollouts for several major oil retailers. Additionally Rob has also designed and implemented numerous CCTV systems including Mobil Oil, BP Oil, Mitre 10, Village Cinemas and Hamilton City Council.

Key Account Management

Mike has a long-standing history in CCTV in New Zealand which extends to the owning, running and operating of large CCTV interests on a national basis. Key account, financial and business management are all part of his portfolio. Mike has also been responsible for multi-site roll out projects for Shell, Caltex and BP retail oil sites throughout New Zealand.

Project Delivery

The knowledge and experience which Rob, Mike and their team have brought together in the business has provided a sound base from which the company operates. Both directors have been directly responsible for major and minor CCTV projects where the delivery of products and services on time and within budget have been the basis for the success of those projects.

We are able to provide and indeed hold accounts with most of the major brand suppliers of CCTV equipment in New Zealand.

The digital age is upon us and we believe our strength lies in being at the leading edge of this and other technology. Already we have provided a number of digital systems to the marketplace providing our clients with the technology and support that they need to run their businesses in a profitable fashion. Many variants of this digital technology are available and indeed here at CCTV Solutions we keep abreast of the developing markets within the CCTV and other electronic fields by subscribing to industry magazines, attending national and international trade fairs and networking within the industry e.g. NZSA and ASIS.
